DN presents InSight Technology and its possibilities in an article published on the 19th of November 2013. Islets of Langerhans are placed into a mouse eye. They reflect the processes happening in the islets of Langerhans in their natural environment – inside the pancreas. This strategy can be used to study progress of diabetes and evaluate new treatment schedules in a diabetic patient.
